Who Can Book a LifeSketch Workshop?
Workshops are ideal for adults who have an interest sharing personal or family stories with the next generation. Our standard workshop requires participants to be able to read and write. In-person classes are available in the Chicagoland area; virtual classes are also available.

How much do they cost?
4-class Package: $350 (includes up to 10 free workbooks, $5 per person after that)
6-class Package: $465 (includes up to 10 free workbooks, $5 per person after that)
90-minute workshop: $125

Who is the Presenter?
Carla Whitacre Mayer spent two decades in the publishing industry working with new and best-selling writers. With an abiding love of history and literature, Carla founded Family Memories Matter whose goal it is to help people see the value in their family stories. Carla has worked at various museums and archives and is currently a museum educator at The Ernest Hemingway Museum Birthplace in Oak Park, Illinois.
